| Facebook ima več kot 140 milijonov aktivnih uporabnikov. Povprečen uporabnik ima 100 prijateljev na stran in 2,6 bilijona minut je porabljenih na Facebook-u vsak dan (worldwide). Preveden je v 35 jazikov in več 70% uporabnikov je izven ZDA. http://www.facebook.com/press/info.php?statistics Zakaj to pišem? Ker je fenomenalno. Iz interne aplikacije, ki je bila namenjena za študente v izobraževalne namene, do svetvne aplikacije. Verjetno tudi najhitreje rastoče. Popularnost Facebook-a raste tudi v Sloveniji. Od konec novembra do sredine decembra je ustvarilo nov profil skoraj 33000 uporabnikov samo iz Slovenije. Različnih spolov in starosti. | RedWriteWeb is blog that provides Web Technology news, reviews and analysis. It is one of the world's top 20 most popular blogs and one of the world's 100 most influential websites . It is also ranked in the top 10 on the Techmeme Leaderboard . To celebrate WWW they have made a selection of 10 international products of 2008. They have looked up for products that were developed outside USA. The products that are on their top 10 list have showed innovation and support for global web standards. They have also tried to choose products from all the major countries. I must say that selection is very interesting. Most of them are social oriented but it is nice to see some good ideas and great work from other countries. Mostly we use and see the products that have been made in US or UK. Why not check out what’s goin’ on, on web, in Africa or India.
